This was material I found and fell in love with… it is really light and the colours just really hit me! I bought it in a turkish market for 2 euros a meter. I had some problems finding material to go under but I settled on a creamy satin. I also figured it would have to be made into a great dress so I used the simplicity pattern 7115, c. It was ment to be a halter neck but it drooped too low at the back so I made some cross straps instead. Climbing in and out of it is an effort but worth it!
Light cotton and satin.

As I see the weather, I think it may only be next year’s favorite! but it looks like a timeless beauty anyway! great fabric and pretty design! (and I love those clothes that were a bargain!) :)
