I was told this morning that the New York TImes was having some sort of photo submission showcasing prints of spring.
But unfortunatly for me i was in jeans. So what was i going to do?
Easy.
I always have extra yardage of textiles lying around my desk, so i decided to make a skirt.
i had textile, a staple gun, wrapping ribbon and pretty much 20 mins.
and this is what i came up with.
Its a tad bit short for my taste, but when i get home i will rework it so it can have a better fit. But as far as sewing macgyver style, i think i did pretty awesome.
:)
upholstery textile, staples, ribbon, and not alot of time
