Buongiorno everybody! This is the first project I upload on Burdastyle: my first step into your lovely world, sewing queens! So here I am, with a romantic pair of shorts for my wild urban roaming.
I mainly followed the Burdastyle pattern, but just made it a little bit shorter and added some details on the side and back-pockets. As I could not get the meaning of every word in the instructions, I helped myself with an old pair of trousers to understand how to sew pockets and zip.
I have to thank Serena M. for shooting me these daft pictures and for suggesting that, if my shorts were a song, they would probably be a freak-folk one!
I used Nani Iro’s wonderful creamy yellow Fuccra fabric. 100% Cotton double gauze.

Buongiorno, Wildpenelope. Your shorts are wonderful because of the fabric, the fit, and the details you added. The sewing details impress me the most. You did a good job on the belt loops, back pockets, cuff, and zipper. I will watch for more of your projects.
