Description

I made this skirt this fall in my advanced clothing class at school. It wasn’t too challenging, except it ended up being too big, so I had to take the sides in.

Its simplicity 2512 by Cynthia Rowley.

The first time I wore it, so a family christmas party, I dropped a nice gooey piece of lasagna right in my lap. Classic. Luckily, it did’t stain.

Material Notes

shiny polyester, plus black silk for the binding

Difficulty

Intermediate

Nice. I saw the pattern envelope and didn’t give it a second look. This make has me inspired though.

I think it’s really pretty and a lovely colour and really nicely done. I can’t wait until I’m experienced enough to do something like that.

don’t wait!! it’s really not as hard as it looks, and the only way to get experienced is to try new things!!! :)
