I’ve finally found time to post pictures of my Larissa jacket on Burdastyle! Yay me :D
I made this for my 2011 cosplay character, Rogue from X-Men (bishojou version), based on the Larissa pattern. I only altered the length of the jacket according to Rogue’s jacket. I made everything you see in the picture except for the boots and gloves (I had a hard time sewing gloves so my best friend helped me out). And yes, I sew the wig too (although it’s not quite accurate since I wasn’t able to find proper wigs locally). Oh, another thing, I was supposed to sew a pair of yellow boot covers instead of wearing my brown boots, but I encountered a few problems with the pattern I originally made and had to settle for something else to wear for the event.
Overall, I’m happy with how the jacket turned out! I just need to attach the X-Men emblem on the other sleeve ;)
P.S. I posted my group photo with my friends as X-Men characters. I made all the girls’ costumes too~ :p

Thank you for the compliment! Yes, they loved their costumes. Since then, I’ve been taking some costume commissions from acquaintances to gain more experience in sewing :)
