Larissa jacket. I started it immediately after it was posted I was so excited and then other things got in the way…lost steam…then back at it…then other things, then Finally yesterday I said this is it! I made a few changes, all are obvious. Some ok, some not so good! but FUN and challenging and I love it. I would love to do THIS for a living.
Dark purple stretch denim, silk stretch lining, jeans zippers none of which were the correct length, lots of pliers action

I have to say that I am really fond of the lining, it really is the light on the top of the cake. (Haha) Congrats! Maybe I’ll make something like this in 37 years, maybe I actually know how to sew then. :)

Thank you all!
I made a 40, and i was really afraid it shouldhave been 42 as I was putting it together…and then i put the lining in and it felt wayy too big. Huh, trust the sizing, these patterns are drafted really well!
Yesthe lining! i LOVE it too! It’s naughty and nice, biker and angels :)
btw, fashionfabricsclub still has it. It’s under silk prints! I was at H&M yesterday and they have a pleather biker jacket with more snaps, and they look good…considering adding some more to the “lapels” to hold them in place. But it’s so much work, the damn pliers, the snaps, the first time when I inevitiably mess it up…etc! :)

Wow, that is SUPER impressive, I love the lining and it looks great on you. Anything that involves lots of plier action and still comes out looking so neat and sexy deserves a round of applause. Well done you!
