I made this bag for my younger sister. We were out shopping for her birthday and she told me she really liked this style of bag. A big carry-all type tote. So I told her we would go pick out some fabric and I would make her one. It was the first real sewing project I’ve done on my sewing machine and I think it turned out pretty well. I didn’t have a pattern but I mostly followed directions on a website I found called www.skiptomylou.org on How to Make a Reversible Tote Bag. The bag well is about the size of a laptop and the strap is about 40" long so it can easily be worn across the body. It has one pocket on the inside about the size of a checkbook but the bag is also completely reversible so that pocket can come to the outside as well.
