My pesky cat ripped through a paper shade lamp I had so i used fused plastic (ironing plastic bags in between wax paper) to create a new lamp shade. I stitched it up by hand using embroidery threads at the top and bottom and voila!
wax paper, an iron, plastic bags.

Oh, just beautiful. I wonder if it’s better than the original shade?

By the way, I also used this method to make place mats… it’s really cool and clears out the plastic bags from under the sink! ;)

I love it. I have a paper lamp at home which my dogs have ripped. I am also interested in how you made the pattern.
