These are the Grainline Lakeside Pajamas. I made these in a straight size 8 on top and size 10 on the bottom. This pattern is wonderful! I love the swing back and the gym short detail on the shorts. I have long admired Jen’s blog and am now a huge admirer of her patterns. They turn out so professionally and the fit is great. Also, her blog is an excellent resource for new sewers.
These are made with quilting cotton. I was worried about the fabric choice, but the fabric is quite soft and although these aren’t super drapy, I do like the coverage that the stiffer fabric provides. I used french seams throughout and made my own bias binding.
I love these pyjamas! I’ve never had nice sleepwear, so I’m really excited about this super cute pattern. I’ll definitely be making more! For my next pair, I’d like to make them in cotton lawn or double gauze. I also have some silk/cotton voile that I really want to make the top up in.
