My first attempt at the Lady Grey Jacket pattern by Colette Patterns. What an awesome design and great pattern.
I was spurred on by Sunnilj’s stunning jacket.
I had a couple of small problems with this but am happy with the way it turned out.
The collar isn’t quite in the right place, it should be stretched round a bit further over each lapel.
There is a small rip at the CB where i tried it on a little too enthusiastically while it was still in production and ripped a notch (definitely going to tack my markings in from now on rather than snipping them)
My hand stitiching of hems and cuffs also leaves a little to be desired.
