If anyone can create beautiful images through costumes in music videos (and in real life!), it’s definitley Lady Gaga! <3 I’m a HUGE little monster (always have been!) and as soon as I saw her Alejandro music video, I knew I wanted to recreate this outfit from head-to-toe for Halloween this year. I constructed Lady Gaga’s Mourner outfit from the “Alejandro” video which consisted of a nude, chiffon, floor-length dress (with a detailed bust), black gloves, a satin pillow holding Alejandro’s crystallized and nail-engraved heart, skyscraper-wedges, and a 2.5ft lace veil! I made the costume out of scratch, no patterns whatsoever. :] All inspiration-credits go to Gaga of course. If you haven’t watched her video yet, I suggest you do! Those that appreciate art, music, and fashion are sure to love it…after all, fashion is art!
