Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I’ve been getting lots of old clothes from my mom, and this white cotton tshirt is one of them. She never wore it because it was small for her… but was big for me.
So I cut off the sleeves and neckline, tied elastic bands through seam allowances.
Also, I read this beautiful book (pic #7) on white embroidery and was so eager to try it. The finished work proudly lies in the
center :-) I tried to place the other laces and buttons randomly but somehow coherently, at the same time. I love the shirt except for the warning it gives me to “work out around my upper arm” every time I wear it… ;-P

I love this blouse… it’s so creative and wild and at the same time very tasteful… I have to rember it when I feel guilty about not being able to throw scraps and pieces away; hopefully I can make something out of them too one day :-)!

There is so much creativity in this blouse! The embroidery is so gentle… I really like its mild color and everything you’ve added and changed!
