As painting for some time is out of my can-do-lists, to make this chair look better I decided for a nice, simple ‘dress’ for it. I love some details on this chair – wooden carve-out flower and rivets, but the skin on the sitting place and the wood itself seems rather old and needs refurbishing.
The pattern for the ‘dress’ I made myself just measuring all the parts from chair. I love how it turned out – very simple and laconic, the zipper makes it a bit more eye catching and refreshes it.
The fabric I used was not really wearable, it is quite itchy and not really for touching because of the texture. But you can sit on it definitely. It is some cotton blend.
Additionally only a zipper was needed.
