As with many of the things I make, I start out with a vague idea that then morphs into the final product. This skirt looked very different before I started working on it. I decided not to put in a zipper and use the lacing. I also added little pleats at the bottom of each of the five seams, which are not very visible in the pictures so I added the close-up of them. It’s a good skirt to dress up or down. I love the fabric and it reminds me of traditional Eastern European china.
