San Pedro De Mon...
I was very happy to design and make, 4 dresses for this very lovely wedding. In this pictures, we can see the mother of the bride, a lovely woman, who wanted to look appropiate as the mother of the bride: classy and elegant, and I feel that I was able to achive that. The dress is made is 4 ply silk, all cut on the bies, and the lace……..the lace is a lovely french chantilly in dark blue with antique gold embroidery that looks perfect with this color green-blue of the silk. Inside the dress that is all lined, there is also an incorporated long bra that was made to fit her perfeectly, and to allow her to feel very very confortable. The inside bra was also made in the same color silk!!. The side piece that hangs towards the back, has a hook “somewhere” so, she was able to use it as a shawl at the Church ceremony, and I was able to do a little trick at the back for the piece not to bother her while it was loose. The little hand bag I made with the same fabric, and the shoes where a Chanel Style, made by a friend of mine, in the same fabrics as the dress. I thank God for the result, because is Him the One that guides my hands and put ideas on my head.
100% silk, and french chantilly lace
