I originally wanted a black lace shirt that wasn’t see-through. But when I bought the lace, I liked the scalloped edges and thought it would be a waste to cut them off. So I decided not to cover the whole shirt in lace. Instead I sewed down the scalloped edges 2 inches away from the centre-front edge.
The buttons were from a jacket.
