I made this skirt for a party before realising I didn’t have any top to match. so there I was with half an hour to go furiously sewing up the shirt with my mum yelling at me to hurry up!! At least I had an excuse why I arrived so called fashionably late!! I have to admit though… I did look pretty good!! I used Simplicity 1465 for the skirt and the JJ shirt pattern with a self-drafted peter pan collar. I have to admit the sleeveless aspect was down to time pressure at the end but I think it probably turned out for the best :)
