I bought some earbuds the other day and instead of waiting for them to get all tangled up, I thought I’d make a little pouch to keep them in. I wanted the pouch to be see-through in order to keep track of what was in there and some leftover lace fit the bill. The entire thing is hand sewn (It’s really little, so why bother to break out the sewing machine?) and the ties are just embroidery floss. I made it pretty late at night so it took forever to figure out the cinch-closure, but I think it’s fun and most importantly, it works!
Lace (4 inches by 2.5 inches) Embroidery floss (2, 7 inch long pieces) As you can see, the lace is not completely straight on both sides so one side of the pouch is irregularly shaped. Structurally it's not an issue, aesthetically it looks just fine when the pouch is closed.
