Made some more! As soon as my friends saw mine they all wanted one so this was a bulk order haha :) Got to experiment with lots of different colors and fabrics. Stretchy lace definitely works the best. I had to use a couple laces with no give, like tulle-ish laces? and they were much easier to cut, but the collar didn’t lay right on them since it was stretchy.
I am so proud of them! I just started sewing a year ago so these were a great project for trial and error of different techniques. Pretty good for only my 4th project!
I am taking custom orders and selling them, but I don’t have an Etsy store or anything yet, so if you are interested please contact me here and I will give you my email! :) Sizes S,M,L
Two way stretch knit, lace

So cute! I’ve always wanted to do the whole custom order/sell what you sew thing. It’s always intrigued me! Besides, this top looks awesome!

This is really really really nice. :D Is the lace really stretchy? Or is it just lace, and has a little bit of stretch?

I worked with a few different kinds. Some was very stretchy, like more of a crochet/knit than actual lace. It works with all kinds, but the knitted ones are comfier and drape better in the end with the jersey in front :)
