Romantic japanese knot purse made of two old pairs of pants (denim and plaid).
I love knot purses! They are very easy to carry, very easy to open and close.
I made horizontal seams (which I covered with lace) beacause the fabric pieces were not wide enough. I also a made seperate handle for the same reason and decorated it with lace as well, to acheive some kind of optical balance.
I made other knot purses after this one, but this was the most functional and pretty, mostly because of the seperated piece for the handle (the third picture shows it clearly). So if you like knot purses I recommend trying this and your wrilet will not slip on your wrist.
recycled denim and lace for the exterior, plaid fabric from old pants for the lining
