La vie en rose silk blouse

Added Jun 15, 2010

by ellie-sew

Berlin, Germany

This is one of my own projects. I love this simple pattern with American shoulders. The blouse can be worn either with a bow or just as a scarf in the back or even in the front. There are many ways, how to wear it and even when. It looks great with a business suit as well as with a pencil skirt.

Material Notes

It is made of pure silk and a little bit of yarn of course. But nothing else, no buttons, no hooks and eyes.

Garment Type
Business, Classic, Evening Wear

Very pretty and classy blouse! Did you cut the pattern on a bias? The draping is just beautiful!

Simple and absolutely beautiful. I look forward to the day where I can execute silk as elegantly and impeccably as this!
