I absolutely love capes! They’re so whimsical and cozy.
This particular cape was inspired by the one worn by a character in the film Dans Paris, which is also quite cozy and whimsical:) I made it using New Look 6227. The cape, by the way, ended up looking nothing like the cape in the movie, but I still think of that one when I’m wearing it:)
In terms of the pattern, I highly recommend it. I haven’t sewn with New Look very much before, but I plan to do more of it after trying this one. Instructions were easy to follow, but challenging enough to keep my interest.
