Don’t fear the fabric; that was my goal with this one. This was also an opportunity to practice applying an invisible zipper; zipper insertion has always been a challenge for me. I chose a basic A-line dress pattern to compliment this bold print. In the back view photo, note the pleating on each side of the zipper line. I added these to address the little bit of gaping that was happening around the back armhole; a fitting issue that turned into a nice added touch.
100% cotton; 22" invisible zipper; thread.
Leopard and snakeskin are the new neutrals.
