This is a pattern for knit, but i changed into the woven version.
woven on a rigid heddle loom @10dpi(40/10cm)+10dpi(40/10cm) for the back piece.
(bulky linen + ramie bulky linen for warp and ramie bulky linen for weft)
woven on a rigid heddle loom @10dpi(40/10cm) for the front piece.
(bulky linen for warp and silk stainless steel for weft)
Yarns : Avril’s Bulky linen 40/2 K1350 in col.02 Ramie bulky linen 40/2 M1800 in col.401 Habu Textiles A-20/21 1/20 silk stainless steel

i do knit and could see how this might be done, but i don’t know anything about weaving. silk stainless steel? i am absolutely fascinated and impressed with this. hope you don’t mind that you’ve inspired me to try a sewn version it won’t look nearly as ethereal as your beautiful creation, but i’ve got a perfect fabric to make a pretty functional piece that i might wear until it falls off of me!!! really, this is stunning.
