kukkopilli star raglan top

Added Mar 26, 2009

I think kukkopilli is the sound of the rooster in finnish. Funny that it’s cock-a-doodle-doo in english, cocorico in french and kikeriki in german! Anyway, this pattern called for a rooster applique but I substituted it for a star. Overall a fast and easy project, very fun.

Material Notes

cotton, polka dots and striped for the neck bias

Pattern from Ottobre 01/2009

star applique from the sew, mama, sew! blog

Very nice – I have this issue of Ottobre and this top is on my ‘to do’ list. Love it in the polka dots.

I adore this fabric and it looks so cute as a little top! Thanks for the language lesson as well. Very interesting!
