Description
We love this dress! With its vintage feel, full back, and center front insets, it has enough lovely details to satisfy the most fashion-obsessed sewers. Depending on your fabrication choices, it’s sweet enough for a summer party or sophisticated enough for the office. We also added extra chiffon details at the neck and sleeves.

Ever since I saw this in the catwalk photos a month ago I’ve been waiting for it to be released!!!
I do love the vintage feel (though I’m bias) , It’s just enough detail without being flouncy, all the details: the back and clasp of the collar, the back, the layered cap sleeves, high waist! All the most flattering elements of a garment wrapped up in one dress! It’s pretty versatile too (thinking a shirt dress, or black stretch satin with electric lime piping/panels..hmmm)

Gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous! Downloading despite the need to grade it so much! Though the sleeves will absolutely need to be changed for my larger figure as the cap sleeve is going to draw too much attention to all the wrong places :) P.S. It’s really nice to see your models smiling for a change!

It definitely has a vintage feel to it. I like many of its details (the back, the sleeves, the chiffon) a lot. I’m not sure it’d be flattering for those with a curvier figure (like me) (and this is not meant as a negative critic, just thinking out loud) but I’ll keep my eyes peeled open for members’ creations based on this pattern.
