Description

I bought this nice jersey fabric in Copenhagen and I wanted to try this pattern with the knottet hole in front. Since it has been a little chilly in the evenings it was perfect to wear on my holiday. I like this style very much, but if I’m going to make it once more I would prefer sewing it of light weight jersey or netjersey. It’s very comfortable to wear and I’m happy how it turned out :-)

This is on my list as well, but I’m going to try to draft the pattern myself, let’s see how it turns out. I love the fabric you chose, those lines add a beautiful detail to the top.

Very nice fabric, looks very smarty and the colour is surely yours. Is it comfortable to wear such long sleeves?

Funny that you mention the sleeves – it is a bit too long for me, but I think when I’m washing it, it probably will shrink a bit since it’s cotton – we’ll see. Thanks for your lovely comments Oksana :)

You did a really great job with this. Jersey is not easy to work with. Very nice and it goes so well with the capri jeans.

Perfect pattern placement – was it accidental or intended? The fabric looks super comfy. And did you make the jeans, too?

Thanks poldapop! When the fabric has effect stripes I need to plan how place the pattern to make it looks nice :) Unfortunately I didn’t make the jeans, but I like them a lot :)

Diddo same as Mary. My overlocker will be back this weekend, in repair shop for the 3rd time (broken looper). Will possibly make it as a dress, we’ll see. Yours looks great, colour, the teaming with those fabbo jeans! Was it easy to make?

Gorgeous top ellen, you beat me to this pattern lol. I had a day of work so i’m actually tracing this pattetn out now!! I plan on a top and a dress,. I love your fabric. The light blue textured fabric is gorgeous and you really do suit this colour. Teaming it with the crop jeans was a great choice. Beautiful job ellen xx
