for flat pattern we had to take a normal button shirt, take one half apart and make a pattern and from that alter it, i believe after i took it apart it was pretty much every single piece altered dramatically, not that it mattered, since i was only turning in the muslin, but then i thought might as well use some fleece i have extra in my room to make a hoodie, i used a strange stiff board like interfacing which was really nice end result but a fuss to stitch and trim to be turned.
