Description

143 Pullover Burda WOF 06/2007
Simple yet sexy! This pullover with plunging neckline has 3/4-length sleeves. It is completely knitted in fancy openwork stitch. It not only looks great but is also practical as there are no hem- or wristbands necessary! An ideal garment for beginners to start off with!

With this yarn no, the red one from the top is stretching in all directions. I guess because of the ribbing it keeps its form better. I did a lot of things different from the pattern though, because of the knitting machine, I did not do a ladder stitch, just a simple rib stitch. Plus my yarn and gauge were different from one suggested in the mag and so I ended up with a much tighter fit…

nice sweater- looks like a good garment for summer evenings. i’m always hesitant to knit with pure cotton because i’m afraid it will stretch out during wearing or washing— have you run into any problems with that for this pattern?
