I made this last fall, using an out of print baby pattern (McCall’s M5367) that I tweaked a bit to fit Ms.G. She wore it all fall and winter with a long sleeved T-shirt underneath and now she can wear it by itself. I added the pocket and "stuffed"one of the cats and attached it to the pocket using a grosgrain ribbon. I got this pattern around the time she was born – it only took me about 4 yrs to actually make it -lol!
