A self-drafted kimono wrap that can be worn as a robe or shirt.

Material Notes

Polyester from Joann’s with borders on both selvedges.

    Gorgeous! And I completely understand what you mean on the “pretty inside and out” (although I have to admit that was one of the main reasons I got a serger, was to clean up a lot of my inside seams!) Really is a time-killer.

    It was nearly too slippery to work with – it took a lot of pins and hand stitching to make it work. ‘Course I could have just serged it and gotten the same look in 1/3 the time but I’ve gone on a “as pretty inside as out” kick and that’s murder on speed sewing. Oh well. I like it. And since I learned to sew on cheap poly it wasn’t as bad as it would have been had I learned on cotton like sane people do. :)

    Really pretty style and fabric, i also would love to have a go with this type of fabric, but it scares me a little!!

    Beautiful colour – I have been really tempted with fabric like this but worried it would be too slippy to work with
