Here is another pair of pyjama style pants. This time commissioned by my brother. His specification was ‘something cool’ and I happened upon this American flag print in my local fabric store. The ‘Ali’ was added at a t-shirt printing place in Edinburgh that I use often for these kind of projects.
Altogether they took about 4 hours to make, without a pattern (I just draw around an existing pair) and I would recommend them as a very satisfying project.
They make me smile every time I see him wearing them!
(The builders working at the bottom of garden thought this photoshoot was the funniest thing they had seen, and did not make life easy, poor Ali!).
Printed cotton from Edinburgh Fabrics.
