feeling really kimono obsessed lately
almost like i don’t wanna wear anything else
but kimonos in all shapes and sizes and colors
so.. i made a few
but then winter decided to finally show up in april
so my kimonos had to wait a little bit more
yesterday was finally a perfect spring day
so i took my kimono out
we’ve been walking through the woods
looking for wild garlic
hugging trees and being silly
laughing a lot..
kimonos would make you feel that way
(and pretty big eyed boys too)
back to the kimono:
i used pattern for silk robe (2/2012, mod 106)
but then changed it a lot
eliminated the colar almost completely
fabric is rayon challis
i used 1.8m of it
