Description
From Weekend Sewing, by Heather Ross.
Material Notes
Using the wrong side of a washed silk that is “drab” colored—a grayish brown. Very pleased with the outcome. I have not yet sewn the obi, and like it with this black leather belt.
I added 3" to this skirt because I am six feet tall.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback. This dress has seen a lot of wear this autumn, as it is November and my geraniums are still blooming out front!
The pattern I used is from Weekend Sewing by Heather Ross. I sewed the M/L size, and am pleased with it. A simple project that took an afternoon to complete.

This is gorgeous! Seems you have the same body shape as I do (I am 6’2’’), maybe I should try this pattern as well! Did you use a pattern?

I love this dress. What pattern did you use? Looks great and looks like it would suit a busty-er woman like myself. I would love to have the link to this pattern! I just made the BSs’ Desira top into a dress and yours reminds me very much of my dress; comfy, the wrap style etc. Love your dress. Would love to see the silk you used up close! :-)

Well done, it looks beautiful! I tried to make this and ended up having to put a seam up the back and take it in 4 inches… It still looks rubbish! xk
