I used the simple tutorial from Leanne Barlow (link for tutorial in the blog). I’ve been searching high and low for a DIY tutorial that was simple, yet had some structure, so that I could create my own pattern to use for future Kimonos, and her tutorial fit the bill just right! The fabric I chose is from Hancocks Fabric, which is a Poly Chiffon. It wasn’t the most pleasant fabric to work with, but I knew it would provide the “flowy” kimono look I was going for!
