Sorry for the bad cellphone pic! I hope you can still see some of the cuteness. I made this outfit for monster-themed costume party for Purim. It’s a fleece hoodie with a belly pouch and an evil koala face on the hood. The matching skirt is a rectangle of fleece fabric sewn to a wide elastic waistband. In the party I also had a little koala plushie that I placed in the belly pouch as my little evil joey.
t took me two rushed afternoons to make this — making a knit hoodie when you have a serger is easy work, but I wasn’t working from a pattern so there was a lot of trial and error. I’m very happy with the result. It was super-comfortable and cuddly and made people smile.
Soft, good-quality fleece; leftover fabric for nose & teeth; buttons for eyes
