This is my kiki, without buttons for the moment! I didnt realise this was a an advanced pattern until i was half way through otherwise i may have not attempted it! But it wasn’t difficult to sew, even though I’ve made a bit of a mess in places! Also I omitted the skirt linning- i found it too bulky for a salwaar kameez top!
The shoulders do slip, but like mentioned before just add bra strap tabs! I’m 5ft 3 and size 30, but the length of the pattern didnt need altering, it fits fine, just the bottom hem needed taking in slightly. I cut the pattern to the smallest size and left a inch seam allowance and the fit was fine too!
I kept the slit at the back closed and added slits on both sides of the dress for the kameez top style. Also gave it more feminine sleeves, as shirt sleeves are not suited to salwaar kameez and look horrible on me!

The colour scheming is great :) I was wanting to have a go at this too but the Advanced labelling put me off – I think you may have inspired to me to have a go!
