The Kiki dress is perfect for making a chic fashion statement: the curved front and back scoop neck is soft & elegant while a bounty of center back buttons lend this dress a lovely vintage feel. The Kiki dress comes with 3 sleeve variations (included in this pattern, the thumbnails are on the pattern page), which are perfectly fit for multiple occasions!
We made the short puff-sleeved variation in contrasting black & white textured silk blends, which add an interesting appeal to this form flattering dress.
2 – 2 1/4 yards medium – lightweight cotton or silk blends. 20cm zipper, 90cm x 15cm interfacing, 11 small buttons

It’d be really great if you guys posted the fabric split, how much for the skirt and how much for the top since the fabric cutting layout only shows for one fabric type. I just bought this pattern and I’m looking forward to finding the perfect fabrics. Thanks BurdaStyle xx

oh I love this variation- the kiki has so much potential! It turns into a totally different dress as soon as you change the fabric/ colour/ sleeves! Also The skirt panels are great because it lets you place the slit wherever you want!

The white fabric looks so lush and I love the subtle metallic threads through the black fabric too! A great spin on classic style :]

Hurraaaaaaaaaah I LOVE THIS – been dying to see the other sleeve variation for a while now before I took the plunge and bought the pattern. This way it can be worn into spring as well :)

i liked the long sleeves of the kiki but these are nice too. I would choose less contrasting fabric i think. But before i start dreaming about making a dress (i already have many ideas in my head for many dresses) i should finish my project of this moment first.

I love this version so much…. and I have just the black, crepe backed satin for the skirt in my stash.
