These lightweight wrap pants tie on the sides and are great for hot days. I used some fabric from my stash and found some suggestions on the web for the pattern. The two main pieces are front and back leg in one (see lower photo) with a crotch curve cut out. Sew the two crotch curves together, right sides together. Then sew on the ties (I made mine wide). I’m not sure if I like the way it ties in the front and how much leg I show so I may add some buttons…
cotton? (not sure, it was a remnant)

Thanks for the comments on my pants! One good tutorial is here: http://laupre.wordpress.com/2008/06/29/easy-breezy-wrap-pants-tutorial/ My pants are similar to these, however, I made the front and back crotch curve different, which i hope you can sort of tell from the bottom photo (sorry it’s skewed from the angle it was taken at).

I am making a pair for lounging around the house this weekend. Here is another link to the pattern I am using. (It’s long I know, but just copy and paste :) )

The simpliest lines are often the most stylish. Beautiful creation!

I have been after a pair of these for ages. I would love a how to or a pattern… anything really would be great!! (Yours look great by the way – and I wouldnt worry about the amount of leg showing – they look awesome the way they are)
