Description

I loved this fabric! It was a fabric that I was originally going to use for a vest but this was a better choice. I had used some of it for another project so I actually didn’t have enough for the whole pattern so I used a solid fabric for contrast and it turned out well. They did come out a little too low for my taste, but it’s ok cuz I can wear a long top :)

Material Notes

less than 1 yd Checkered woolen fabric about 1/2 yd Broadcloth for contrast 1 golden button 5" zipper

Thanks to my mom for the idea of the contrast!

They are fab! I like the low waist, and love the tartan fabric.

Wow, they look great! The combination of the different fabrics is really cool! I’m sewing a pair of Tonia shorts right now, but in a solid color. But yours make me wanna try to make them with some patterned fabric :)
