I’ve always wanted to make a dress like this and I saw my opportunity when I saw this pattern. All I did was remove the straps and make the top into a heart form. I also made the sash into a mini corset by cutting it wider and attaching loops for closure. I have added two versions of how this dress could be worn (just by changing the mini corset) Note: it looks alot better if you make the mini corset smaller than your actual size so that the criss-cross is more visible.
