Description
My daughter has a habit of sending me photos of dresses etc and asking can i make them or she’ll give me something to copy. This dress she gave me is one of her favourite’s so i set about copying it for her. This was the first time i used my binder maker and although its not perfect i was so pleased with it. I nornally just cut strips of fabric stitch them to the armhole or neck then double fold and stitch again!! I needed something like proper binding this time though as the binding’s extend to the straps. I’m now in love with my binding maker and my daughter was delighted with the dress. The origonal dress cost £40 and mine was £4 x
Material Notes
cotton based jersey

Nice fabric and matches well the pattern – and perfect saving as well:) And I can’t but join the girls’ opinion about the family beauty of your family, your genes should be spread as more as possible to make the world nicer:)

thank you schnui, i am going to buy more of them as i do love the one i have. I actually kept the scraps i had left over as i was so.impressed with my bindings lol. It’ll be great for the neck edges of tops etc where i want the binding to show. I have done binding before but it took me ages to.get it looking neat, this is so easy once you get the hang of it x
