A friend of mine wanted me to make her a diaper bag for her newest addition. I instantly knew what I wanted to do. I definitely wanted to make it feminine, without making it too feminine. Well, actually it is super girly, but in a way that’s not so “in your face.” I basically didn’t want to make it the usual pink on pink, though this fabric and pattern is now just as popular.
The exterior has four pockets, made out of the brown. The interior of the front and back pockets are lined with the same fabric as the interior of the bag. The interior has four pockets on one side and then one large pocket on the other for more storage.
I wanted to add a personal touch without making it too specific to her newest daughter, so I embroidered “Proud Momma” on the front.
Overall, being my first diaper bag, I’m extremely happy with how it turned out and I know that Kelly will love it and find it useful as well.
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
