Coeur D'alene, I...
I made this dress for the same sister that I made the bridesmaid dress for. I used the altered bodice pattern that I used on my bridesmaid dress and then made an adjustable tie for the back and a crazy poof for the bottom. I wanted to pull the hem up and under so it was like other bubble hems but she liked the little border on the bottom. I don’t live by her and so I wanted something that was adjustable. The back waistline is elastic.
pink taffeta, pink lining fabric, elastic for back waistband.
altered pattern from bridesmaid dress.
