i made this for my as level textiles project at school. my client was my older brother – he made me make him lunch just so i could take pictures of him, such a diva ;)
i think this is the third thing i’ve made from scratch so i made a few mistakes, notably putting the buttons on the wrong side so my brothers had severe trouble trying to put it on (haha) but i did my best to keep it neat. i left the collar stand open and threaded through a shoe lace to make it more like a hoody, but to be honest i think it looks more like a pajama top hahaaa
i had to incorporate decoration to gain marks, which isnt so easy on male clothes, so i embroidered a star on the front pocket and there’s an appliqué star on the inside of the collar stand
green candystripe polycotton and purple polycotton from ebay when i ordered the fabrics i actually thought i was getting two shades of blue so had a bit of a surprise when they arrived ;) i used black thread to try and make it a bit more manly

Looks really great very well made. Am considering making a button up for Hubby, he is so out of fashion, trying to spruce him up. :^P
