My dear friend Katie was wed in a ivory hammered silk wedding gown I custom made for her when 7 months pregnant. The pattern for the gown was created by draping fabric on a dress form, based on her growing curves and comfort for the day.
Draped bodice with gathered straps; pleated empire waist.

4 yards ivory hammered silk; 1 yards dusty rose silk charmeuse for sash; invisible zip

    gorgeous! I love everything about it! What a challenge to make a maternity wedding dress!

    I’m finishing up my sister’s wedding dress right now, so I’ll be posting pictures soon… it’s simple (thank god), but she looks gorgeous in it.
