Katie, gasp, was going back to her 10 year high school reunion and needed to look fashionable, fly, and artistic…
I have sewn for Katie before, and she can be a tough cookie, so I put my foot down and told her I would sew her something as long as I had free reign to do WHAT EVER I WANTED to do. She could pick the color and the buck stoped there. She rocked her reunion, by the way, and had more comments from MEN about the dress then from WOMEN… I guess it worked.
Orgainc cotton, wow did it sew up like liquid chocolate!

Love it! Cool design! Where did you get the gray organic cotton? I too love the organic cottons, they’re so supple… But all I’ve seen is white or tea stained.

I’m loving white dresses right now, so my preference is your muslin (!) but either way, the dress design is beautiful. I love the fluttery strap. well done!
for some reason the picture of the girls zoomed out comes up really small.. did you accidentally resize it to being too small? :)

oh ok :) when you save pictures from facebook, make sure you actually open the picture up and then save it.
if you just save the ‘thumbail’ it will forever be small!
if this isn’t the case, then don’t worry :) the other pictures worked fine!

The white pic is the muslin version made for fitting before the finished dress.
