Front Facing: I lined my jacket using BurdaStyle’s video tutorial on how to line a jacket. Since I altered the front and back pattern pieces, I had to redraw the facing pieces to match.

Tip: When sewing the lining, don’t bother sewing the shoulder darts into the lining fabric. Instead, just take in a 1/2" pleat in the front and back shoulder pieces when sewing the shoulder seam of the lining.

Trace the front pattern piece 2" (5 cm) from the edge along the neckline and 3" (7.8 cm) from the edge down the front. The gray shaded area is the new front facing piece.
