Pull the ends of the elastic coming out through the bottom of the casings, allowing it to gather the back of the skirt. Pin the ends of the elastic to the skirt. Try on the skirt and adjust the elastic until it gathers the skirt to your liking. Secure the elastic with several rows of stitching.
