Burda Style For people who sew

Sew belt: Sew two of the 40" long pieces right sides together on all sides except the short end. Trim seam allowances and turn the pieces right side out. Press seams. Repeat with the other two 40" pieces. Sew both of the 26" long pieces into tubes, leaving one end open of each. Turn the tubes right side out and press. Sew the open ends of one 26" tube to the open ends of one 40" long piece. Finish the exposed edges. Repeat with remaining two pieces. Sew three buttonholes onto the wide edge of one piece of the belt. Sew three buttons onto the wide edge of the other piece of the belt.
